Stamps

The new nation's first stamps feature a traditional crocodile design, ceremonial palm wreaths, the coffee harvest and the flag of Timor-Leste. Stamp and cover designs include tais weavings made by the women of the Murak Rai Foundation, Dili (Díli).

The new 2005 edition, in celebration of the 30 years of independence, pictures President Nicolau Lobato, a child, an old man and a rooster.
